Wareham

Wareham is the gateway to Cape Cod. It is a fantastic community of villages, from the vibrant downtown area to the beautiful Onset. Wareham is the final town on the route to Cape Cod.

Funding is underway for the Bike path through Wareham. The Narrows Road, Minot Avenue section is on the state’s 2028 funding schedule. This project was previously scheduled for 2024.

The town works with state planners (SRPEDD & Mass DOT) to redesign busy Route 6. A potential bike path lane is being sought from Marion town line to Chapel Street, which intersects with Main Street Wareham Village.
